N219 is a new generation multi-purpose aircraft, which is designed to carry 19 passengers with the largest cabin cross section of its class, the proven and efficient engine widely used, advanced avionics suite, fixed tricycle landing gear, as well as wide cargo door for multi role capability and quick change configuration. Thus, N219 is designed to provide advantages to the operators from technical and economic aspects.

In addition to passenger transport configuration, N219 can also be fitted with appropriate equipment to fulfil various mission requirements such as Troop Transport, Medical Evacuation configuration, Cargo Transport, Surveillance and Search and Rescue.
