Signing of Contract for the Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ Helicopter between Indonesian Ministry of Defense and PTDI

‌PTDI signed the Contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia to procure 1 (one) Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ Helicopter unit signed by the Commitment Making Officer, Defense Agency (Baranahan) Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, TNI Brigadier Bambang Kusharto and Commercial Director  PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), Irzal Rinaldi Zailani.  The signing of the Sale and Purchase Contract was witnessed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, TNI General Ryamizard Ryacudu and PTDI President Director, Elfien Goentoro.

‌The Contract of the Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ Helicopter between the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and PTDI for the Indonesian Air Force with the contract covering 1 (one) unit of the Helicopter also includes Training for Aviators and Technicians, Technical Publications and Parts.

‌Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ helicopter is a PTDI product that is equipped with Avionic Glass Cockpit, accompanied by AHRS optical sensor (Attitude Heading and Reference System), FMS (Flight Management System) technology, instruments used by pilots to arrange flight plans including  the path that will be passed by the helicopter, SAR Direction Finder to capture ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) signals, NVG (Night Vision Goggle), Weather Radar and Emergency Floatation to make emergency landings on water.  Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ helicopter is able to fly for 4 (four) hours with a maximum speed of 306 km/hour.

‌The helicopter that is capable of carrying 18 troops and 3 crews (Pilot, Co-Pilot and Air Helicopter) is a multipurpose heavy transport helicopter that can be used for military transport, cargo, paratroop transport, medical evacuation, and VIP.  The Super Puma NAS-332 C1+ helicopter will be equipped with a Hoist to pull / evacuate the victim on the right side of the door.  In addition, this helicopter also has a sling that serves to carry goods or tactical vehicles with a maximum load of 4.5 tons.

The N219 aircraft is a passenger aircraft with a capacity of 19 people with two turboprop engines which referred to CASR Part 23 regulations.

N219 aircraft design process since testing, certification, until the production process series is domestic-made. The N219 aircraft has ability to take off on a short runway which is not prepared so that it will support the connectivity of inter-island especially in the Pioneer area.
