Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), Triawan Munaf in the Plenary Meeting Room, 9th Floor, PTDI Management Center Building, Bandung.

PTDI and PT. Angkasa Pura Hotel will work together in terms of providing and managing transportation facilities supporting tourist services, providing and managing supporting facilities in the form of food & beverage, merchandise, tour companions, tour packages, tourist facilities, as well as the construction and maintenance of certain assets used as tourist attraction facilities.

This cooperation is a form of PTDI's business diversification in terms of utilizing existing facilities with the concept of facilitating people who want to know more about the only aircraft industry in Southeast Asia. PTDI will also prepare a simulator as a vehicle for people who want to feel controlling an airplane like a pilot, including an aircraft cockpit and various kinds of merchandise that visitors can later buy. PTDI and PT. Angkasa Pura Hotel will continue to apply a certain level of security considering that PTDI's production area is in the bonded area of the Air Force and Husein Sastranegara International Airport.

PT. Angkasa Pura Hotel is a subsidiary of PT. Angkasa Pura I which is engaged in hospitality services with its main business as the manager of airport hotels and also serves other hospitality services, which is incorporated in the Tourism BUMN Holding led by PT. Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero).

The plan to build this educational tourism service is a breakthrough and a new challenge for PTDI, especially in terms of developing business and commercializing existing facilities outside PTDI's core competence as an aircraft manufacturing industry player. It is hoped that later this educational tourism service can provide knowledge and benefits to the community, especially about the history and technology of aerospace in Indonesia.
