PTDI President Director Inaugurates Aerospace Education Tourism

This weekend Saturday, April 08, 2023, PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan inaugurated an aerospace education tour in a series of Ramadhan Fair & Edutainment events at Plataran Daycare PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Jl. Pajajaran No. 154, Bandung.

This Edutainment activity is the first to be organized by PTDI, where the Factory Tour School Package for school students is held every Friday on April 7 and 14, 2023 and the general public can take a factory tour #NguliatPakeBandros Ngabuburit Liat Aircraft Riding the Bandung Tour On Bus (Bandros) to the PTDI Hangar area which is held on Saturday-Sunday April 8-9 and Saturday-Sunday April 15-16, 2023 from 09.00-16.00 WIB.

The public can get a closer look at the production process and products of the nation's proud aircraft such as the CN235 Flying Test Bed, PTTA Wulung, N250 aircraft and N219 Nurtanio aircraft.

At the Ramadhan Fair Bazaar, the public can shop at more than 60 tenants, ranging from fashion, culinary, to entertainment. In addition, there is a Photobooth where visitors can take selfies.

Aerospace Education Tourism in Bandung is a form of PTDI's business diversification in terms of utilizing existing facilities with the concept of facilitating people who want to know more about the only aircraft industry in Southeast Asia.

"The development of this educational tourism service is a breakthrough and a new challenge for PTDI, especially in terms of developing business and commercialization of existing facilities outside PTDI's core competence as an aircraft manufacturing industry player. It is hoped that later this educational tourism service can provide knowledge and benefits to the community, especially about the history and technology of aerospace in Indonesia, "said PTDI President Director, Gita Amperiawan.

As a form of concern for the community in the month of Ramadan 1444 H, PTDI held Cheap Food for the surrounding community on Friday, April 14, 2023.

PTDI will also later complement aerospace education tours with aircraft simulators as a vehicle for people who want to feel controlling an airplane like a pilot, including an aircraft cockpit trainer room and various other aerospace education.
