PTDI Conducts Environmental Conservation in Cicendo, Bandung, Supporting BBGRM 2026

DESKJABAR – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) conducted an environmental conservation initiative in Cicendo District, Bandung City. The initiative included planting numerous durian, avocado, and ketapang kencana trees, supporting the 22nd Community Mutual Cooperation Month (BBGRM) 2026 at the local district level on Thursday, June 11, 2026. PTDI's initiative was carried out in commemoration of World Environment Day on June 5, 2026, with the theme "Time to Act for Climate." PTDI (Persero) continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental conservation through various concrete actions. After previously carrying out river cleanup activities around the Company's area with the Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) Team, the K3LH Team, the PTDI facilities team, and the surrounding community, PTDI again participated in the launch of the 22nd Community Mutual Cooperation Month (BBGRM) in 2026 at the Cicendo District level, which took place at Cicendo Square.

Creating a green and healthy environment

PTDI, through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program, in collaboration with the Bandung City Council (DPRD), planted durian, avocado, and ketapang kencana trees in the Cicendo District. The seedlings were previously handed over to the Cicendo District on World Environment Day, June 5, 2026.

This activity is part of the company's efforts to support urban greening, improve air quality, and contribute to reducing carbon emissions by increasing green open spaces. PTDI's participation in BBGRM activities aligns with the spirit of collaboration and mutual cooperation, which are the foundation of sustainable community development. Through synergy between the government, the business world, and the community, various environmental programs can provide broader and more sustainable benefits to the surrounding community.

PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti, stated that this tree-planting activity is a concrete manifestation of the company's commitment. Every tree planted today is a long-term investment in the environment.

"We hope this activity will benefit the community and support the creation of a greener and healthier environment for future generations," she said. Through a series of activities commemorating World Environment Day 2026, from river cleanups to tree planting, PTDI continues to strive to make a tangible contribution to the environment and society. The spirit of collaboration fostered is expected to encourage the creation of a cleaner, more sustainable, and more sustainable ecosystem in the city of Bandung.
