PTDI Berdayakan UMKM Lokal Melalui Digitalisasi dan Inkubasi Bisnis
Bandung (November 12) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national economic empowerment through the digitalization of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Together with other state-owned defense industry members under the Defend ID Holding PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Dahana, and PT Pindad PTDI launched the MSME Business Incubation Program as part of its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiative, in collaboration with Jwalbli.
The inaugural session took place at D’Pakar, Bandung, West Java, attended by 10 MSMEs fostered by Defend ID from various business sectors. The program, themed “Maximizing Web Commerce as a Medium to Build a Strong Brand and Go Digital,” marks PTDI’s concrete step in expanding its social contribution beyond the defense industry sector while strengthening its TJSL commitment to supporting digital transformation and community economic self-reliance.
Through this program, MSME participants will be equipped with the skills to become independent brand owners by managing online stores through an integrated digital system. The Jwalbli platform provides essential features such as Brand & Branding, POS System, Inventory Management, Employee Management, Financial Management, and Online Promotion Strategies to enhance business competitiveness.
“As part of Defend ID, PTDI is committed not only to strengthening the independence of the national defense industry but also to promoting sustainable economic growth by enhancing the capacity of MSMEs. This initiative reflects PTDI’s TJSL values in the economic aspect, emphasizing empowerment and productivity improvement of local entrepreneurs,” said Kerry Apriawan, PTDI’s TJSL Manager.
The three-month training program will also provide participants with practical knowledge in design, copywriting, digital marketing, and web commerce management. Through continuous mentoring, PTDI expects MSME participants to leverage digital technology to expand their market reach and increase their business competitiveness, both nationally and globally.
By taking an active role in this incubation program, PTDI underscores its position as part of the Defend ID Holding an entity not only focused on business growth but also socially committed to building an inclusive, sustainable, and impactful digital economic ecosystem in Indonesia.
