[Medium Class Helicopters]

AS565 MBe is a helicopter currently used by the Indonesian Navy. It has low operating costs and easy maintenance but can carry a maximum payload of up to 4,500 kg.

This helicopter is widely used for Economic Exclusive Zone (EEZ) surveillance & control, maritime counter-terrorism (MCT) & piracy (MCP), search and rescue (SAR), Casual and medical evacuation, and special operation force.

The capabilities developed in this series are in the new security and avionic systems, equipped with dual channel full authority digital engine control, vehicle and engine multifunction display, integrated electronic standby instrument, usage monitoring system, solid-state cockpit voice and flight data recorder.
