PT Dirgantara Indonesia Offers N219 MSA as a Maritime Surveillance Solution

PT Dirgantara Indonesia once again participated in the prestigious Singapore Airshow 2026, held from February 3 to 8, 2026, at the Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore.

At the event, PT Dirgantara Indonesia showcased the N219 aircraft in a Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) configuration as a maritime surveillance solution that is adaptable to various operational needs and maritime environment characteristics.

Adi Prastowo, Manager of Corporate Communications & Institutional Relations of PT Dirgantara Indonesia, stated that in this configuration, the N219 MSA is designed to enhance data collection capabilities and maritime activity monitoring.

Monitoring is carried out through the use of various sensors and mission systems, including an ultra-light maritime surveillance radar with a range of up to 160 nautical miles, Track While Scan (TWS) capability with the capacity to monitor more than 200 targets, as well as Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), Automatic Identification System (AIS), handheld cameras, and tactical datalink. All of these systems are integrated through mission consoles and a mission computer.

In terms of performance, the N219 MSA is designed to have a radius of action of up to 200 nautical miles, endurance in the operational area of more than two hours, and a total mission time of over 5.5 hours, enabling it to support maritime patrol and surveillance, including search and rescue (SAR) missions.

“The development of the N219 MSA configuration was carried out through collaboration between PT Dirgantara Indonesia and Scytalys, which serves as a partner in the development and integration of the N219 MSA aircraft,” said Adi on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

As part of its ongoing commitment to expanding its role and contribution within the global aerospace and defense industry ecosystem, PT Dirgantara Indonesia’s participation in the Singapore Airshow 2026 serves as a strategic momentum to demonstrate the Company’s capability in developing and integrating high-technology aerospace platforms that are adaptable to user needs.

In addition, PT Dirgantara Indonesia also showcased the CN235-220M ASW aircraft as a modern maritime patrol platform designed to strengthen maritime domain awareness (MDA) and naval defense capabilities.

The aircraft is also equipped with Scytalys’ Mission Integration and Management System (MIMS) airborne, which integrates and manages various sensors in a unified manner to support surveillance, detection, identification, and classification operations in maritime areas.
