Jakarta Skies Become the Stage for PTDI Aircraft at TNI Anniversary Celebration

Jakarta, BandungOke.com – The skies over Jakarta Bay and the National Monument (Monas) witnessed a proud moment for Indonesia’s aerospace industry during the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

Several aircraft produced and delivered by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) took part in aerial demonstrations, sailing pass formations, and operational showcases, witnessed directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.

On Thursday (October 2), the AS565 Panther helicopter—developed in collaboration between PTDI and Airbus Helicopters—executed a medical evacuation (medevac) maneuver over a Republic of Indonesia Warship.

The demonstration highlighted the readiness of the TNI's defense systems in integrating both naval and air power.

The peak celebration, held on October 5, 2025, featured PTDI’s flagship aircraft, including the NC212i, CN235-220, as well as helicopters developed in collaboration with Bell Helicopters and Airbus Helicopters, such as the Bell 412, AS550 Fennec, AS365 Dauphin, NAS332 Super Puma, and EC725 Caracal.

Various missions were carried out, from flypasts and defile formations, to the unfurling of a giant national flag—symbolizing the unity of the TNI’s three military branches.

Since 1976, PTDI’s products have strengthened the TNI across numerous defense operations and humanitarian missions—ranging from border surveillance to disaster relief distribution across the archipelago.

PTDI’s participation in this year’s TNI anniversary celebration is not just a showcase of capabilities, but a strong affirmation of the importance of self-reliance in the national defense industry.

This moment serves as a powerful symbol of the synergy between the government, the TNI, and the domestic industry.

PTDI reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support Indonesia’s defense posture, safeguard national air sovereignty, and showcase the capabilities of homegrown aerospace innovation.
