PTDI and Sari Bahari Explore Global Market Expansion for National Rocket Products

Singapore (04/02) — PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) and PT Sari Bahari agreed to sign a Letter of Intent (LoI) on the second day of the Singapore Airshow 2026. The cooperation document was signed by PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, and PT Sari Bahari’s Vice President Director, Putra Prathama Nugraha, at PTDI’s booth A-L31.

The agreement covers plans for cooperation in the sales of 70 mm and 80 mm caliber rockets, as well as joint exploration of marketing opportunities for both types of rockets in international markets. This collaboration is aimed at expanding the distribution reach of national rocket products, increasing their global market exposure, and strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesia’s defense industry at the international level.

PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, stated that this cooperation represents a strategic step in strengthening Indonesia’s position as part of the global defense industry supply chain. “This collaboration is expected to open new opportunities for expanding the international market for national rocket products, while increasing added value through the synergy of capabilities among domestic defense industry players,” he said.

Furthermore, this initiative is also in line with PTDI’s commitment to promoting the independence of the national defense industry through strengthening its product portfolio, expanding business scale, and broadening its network of strategic partners, both domestically and internationally.

As the lead integrator of the national aerospace industry, PTDI has extensive experience in the development and integration of weapons systems, including airborne platforms and their supporting systems. With its engineering, testing, and certification capabilities, PTDI continues to expand its role not only as an aircraft manufacturer, but also as a strategic partner in the development of integrated weapons systems.

The cooperation with PT Sari Bahari is expected to be part of ongoing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of national defense products in the global market.
