PTDI Holds Free Health Check-ups in Bandung, Supporting Healthy and Active Seniors

DESKJABAR - PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) or PTDI continues its contribution to the community through various Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs. One of these programs is to support improving public health, particularly the elderly (lansia) in Bandung City. PTDI once again held free health check-ups at the Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) in RW 03, Cijagra Village, Lengkong District, Bandung City, on Thursday, June 11, 2026. This routine activity is one of PTDI's contributions to supporting promotive and preventive efforts in public health. As the elderly population increases, attention to their health becomes increasingly important to ensure they remain healthy, active, and independent in their daily lives.

Education on the Importance of Healthy Living

A total of 80 seniors participated in the health check-up, which included checking their blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. The entire series of examinations were conducted by a medical team from the PTDI polyclinic, who also provided consultations and health education to participants tailored to their individual conditions.

PTDI's Community Health Service (TJSL) Manager, Kerry Apriawan, stated that elderly health is a crucial aspect in creating a prosperous and quality society. "Through this Posbindu activity, PTDI wants to raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining health through regular check-ups. Early detection is a simple yet crucial step in preventing the development of various non-communicable diseases that are common among the elderly," he said. Kerry stated that PTDI's TJSL, in conjunction with these free health check-ups, can provide tangible benefits to the community and help seniors stay healthy, active, and independent.
