PTDI Demonstrates Care for NTT Earthquake Victims Through TJSL Program

BANDUNG — PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, has provided humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) on August 15, 2026.

The aid was distributed on Saturday (09/05) through the BUMN Peduli Post and handed over via Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) to be directly received by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).

The relief supplies consisted of basic necessities, including food items, mineral water, instant food, and daily essentials required by the affected residents in NTT. The distribution reflects PTDI's commitment to supporting communities in need, particularly during emergency response and post-disaster recovery phases.

As part of the Holding Defend ID, this relief initiative was carried out under the "Defend ID Peduli Bencana NTT" program. Through this effort, PTDI collected donations from PTDI, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), IPTN North America, Inc. (INA, Inc.), and PTDI employees. The collected funds were then coordinated and distributed through the BUMN Peduli Post to ensure direct and effective aid for affected communities.

Through the implementation of the TJSL program, PTDI remains committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by delivering tangible benefits to society and the environment. This care forms part of PTDI's contribution toward disaster management and strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) in helping those in need.

"We hope that the aid provided will bring benefits and help meet the needs of the community amid the current situation," said PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti.

A representative from the BNPB team, Femmy Bapa, expressed appreciation for the initiative: "The Sikka Regional Government would like to thank PTDI for supporting the earthquake disaster management in Sikka Regency. Once again, we extend our gratitude for the support provided by PTDI. God bless."

PTDI hopes that the relief assistance will assist the affected residents in NTT and serve as part of a collective effort to accelerate disaster recovery and management.
