PTDI’s TJSL Program Enhances Learning Facilities at SDN 187 Lanuma Husein
BANDUNG – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), in collaboration with defense industry SOEs under Holding Defend ID, inaugurated new classrooms at SDN 187 Lanuma Husein, Cicendo District, Bandung, West Java.
This activity is part of the SOE Social & Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program aimed at creating a better learning environment for students. The inauguration was attended by several representatives, including Hendra Gunawan from the SOE TJSL Directorate and R Titim Patimah, Supervisory Officer for SDN 187.
In her remarks, PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti, emphasized the importance of clean and comfortable classrooms in boosting students' learning enthusiasm.
"Classrooms are where dreams begin. We believe that clean, safe, and comfortable learning spaces will foster a greater passion for learning," she stated.
The infrastructure renovation project at SDN 187 took place from August 29 to September 29, 2023. It included classroom repairs, bathroom facility upgrades, and the provision of supporting educational tools such as whiteboards, tables, and chairs.
R Titim Patimah expressed her appreciation for the contributions made by PTDI and Holding Defend ID, noting that every child deserves a proper learning environment. She hopes this contribution will benefit the school and serve as an inspiration for other educational institutions.
Rosida Chad, Principal of SDN 187, also expressed her gratitude for the support. "Hopefully, this contribution will bring great benefits to our school and support the students' learning process going forward," she said.
This TJSL initiative reflects PTDI’s ongoing commitment to delivering impactful contributions to the community. PTDI hopes to strengthen synergy across Holding Defend ID members for future TJSL initiatives that support surrounding communities.
