Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno Inspects PTDI’s Flagship Products at the IISAR 2026 Exhibition
DESKJABAR – Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (Menko PMK) Pratikno inspected a range of flagship products from PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) on the opening day of the Indonesian International Search and Rescue (IISAR) 2026 exhibition, held at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, North Jakarta. Located at Hall C No. 10, Booth C01, PTDI showcased various aerial platforms capable of supporting search and rescue operations—including helicopters and the CN235, NC212, and N219 aircraft—as well as engineering service products such as the Elang Hitam MALE Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) and the Wulung Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAS). On the first day of IISAR 2026, Coordinating Minister Pratikno visited the PTDI and Bell booths to examine the various aerospace products and solutions on display in support of Search and Rescue (SAR) operations.
During the event, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs personally inspected various flagship aerial platforms showcased by PTDI, including helicopter models resulting from the collaboration between PTDI and Bell. PTDI’s participation in IISAR 2026 also involved its subsidiary, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), which possesses capabilities in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engines and industrial turbines, as well as supporting engineering services. Initiated by the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) of the Republic of Indonesia, this exhibition is an international event that integrates exhibitions, forums, and operational challenges within the SAR sector, bringing together SAR authorities, industry players, and stakeholders from various countries onto a single collaborative platform. Strategic Momentum For PTDI, participation in IISAR 2026 serves as a strategic opportunity to showcase the company's capabilities in delivering aerial solutions that support search and rescue missions, while simultaneously expanding partnership networks with both national and international partners. This commitment aligns with PTDI’s track record of supporting the enhancement of Basarnas's aerial capabilities. Between 2013 and 2019, PTDI progressively delivered six AS365 N3+ Dauphin SAR helicopters, designed to support various search and rescue operations across Indonesia.
In addition to supplying aerial platforms, PTDI possesses the capability to provide after-sales services—ranging from maintenance, repair, and overhaul to technical support—to ensure the operational readiness of the fleet. As the national aerospace industry player, PTDI continuously develops its capabilities in design, manufacturing, system integration, and after-sales support to deliver reliable, adaptive, and competitive aerospace solutions. Through its participation in the IISAR 2026 exhibition, PTDI aims to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the Search and Rescue (SAR) sector while showcasing Indonesia's aerospace industry capabilities in supporting humanitarian missions, safety initiatives, and emergency response efforts at both national and international levels.
