PT Dirgantara Indonesia Showcases SAR Aircraft and Elang Hitam UCAV at IISAR 2026
Geonews.id, Bandung – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) is participating in the Indonesian International Search and Rescue (IISAR) 2026 exhibition, held from July 9–12, 2026, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, North Jakarta. Located at Hall C No. 10, Booth C01, PTDI is showcasing various aerial platforms capable of supporting search and rescue operations. The products on display include helicopters and the CN235, NC212, and N219 aircraft, alongside engineering service products such as the "Elang Hitam" MALE Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) and the "Wulung" Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). On the first day of IISAR 2026, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Pratikno, visited the PTDI and Bell booths. During the visit, he inspected the various aerospace products and solutions presented to support Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. He viewed PTDI’s flagship aerial platforms firsthand, including helicopter products resulting from the collaboration between PTDI and Bell. PTDI’s participation in IISAR 2026 also involves its subsidiary, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP). PT NTP possesses capabilities in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engines and industrial turbines, as well as supporting engineering services. The IISAR 2026 exhibition was initiated by the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) of the Republic of Indonesia. This international event integrates exhibitions, forums, and operational challenges within the SAR sector. It brings together SAR authorities, industry players, and stakeholders from various countries onto a single collaborative platform. For PTDI, participation in IISAR 2026 serves as a strategic opportunity to showcase the company's capabilities in providing aerial solutions that support search and rescue missions. ...while simultaneously expanding its network of national and international partnerships. This commitment aligns with PTDI’s track record of bolstering Basarnas's aerial capabilities. Between 2013 and 2019, PTDI progressively delivered six AS365 N3+ Dauphin SAR helicopters, designed to support a wide range of search and rescue operations across Indonesia. In addition to providing aerial platforms, PTDI possesses the capability to deliver after-sales services. These services encompass maintenance, repair, and overhaul, as well as technical support, to ensure the fleet's operational readiness. As the national aerospace industry player, PTDI continues to develop its capabilities—ranging from design, manufacturing, and system integration to after-sales support—with the aim of delivering reliable, adaptive, and competitive aerospace solutions. Through its participation in the IISAR 2026 exhibition, PTDI hopes to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the SAR sector. PTDI also seeks to showcase the capabilities of Indonesia's aerospace industry in supporting humanitarian missions, safety initiatives, and emergency response efforts at both national and international levels.
