PTDI Supports Educational Facilities in Bandung Through TJSL Program at SDN 187 Lanuma Husein
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), in collaboration with defense industry State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) under Holding Defend ID—including PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Dahana (Persero), PT Pindad (Persero), and PT PAL Indonesia (Persero)—inaugurated new classrooms and provided supporting facilities at SDN 187 Lanuma Husein, Cicendo District, Bandung, West Java.
This initiative reflects the synergy among Defend ID holding members in implementing targeted and impactful SOE Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, specifically in education, to foster a proper learning environment near the company’s operational area.
The inauguration took place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, attended by Hendra Gunawan (Technical Policy Analyst from the TJSL Directorate of the SOE Regulatory Body), R Titim Patimah (Supervisory Inspector of SDN 187 Lanuma Husein representing the Head of Bandung City Education Office), Anton Sunarwibowo (Head of Bapperida Bandung City), alongside representatives from Defend ID holding members, school officials, and the local community.
Collaboration Among Defense Industry SOEs
This activity forms part of the collaboration between defense industry SOEs, the Bandung City Government, and educational institutions to deliver facilities that support a more effective learning process for students and educators.
The Defend ID TJSL implementation team conducted infrastructure improvements at SDN 187 Lanuma Husein from August 29 to September 29, 2026. During this period, tasks included classroom renovations, bathroom facility repairs, and the provision of essential equipment such as whiteboards and desk-and-chair sets for teachers and students.
In her report, PTDI Corporate Secretary Rommy Indah Jayanti stated that this assistance goes beyond building repairs, as classrooms are where dreams begin. She emphasized that a clean, safe, and comfortable learning environment inspires a greater passion for learning, noting that a nation’s strength is built on the quality of its human resources.
Rosida Chad, Principal of SDN 187 Lanuma Husein, alongside R Titim Patimah, expressed deep appreciation to PTDI and Defend ID holding members for their support, enabling the school to improve its facilities on par with other schools in Bandung.
Through the TJSL program, PTDI continues to develop tailored initiatives that bring direct benefits to the community.
